Link: URGENT! STOLEN BORDER COLLIES!!.
Sunday, January 21st, 2007 our Ford F350 PU Dualley, 2003 was stolen from
the Ramada Plaza Convention Center at Northglenn, Colorado off I-25. In the bed of
the pickup was 2 metal dog carriers with our 4 border collie dogs in them. My
husband, Jim Chant was the superintendent of the NWSS cattle dog competition
held in the stock yards on Friday & Saturday 1/19 & 1/20 and we also competed
with our 4 dogs.
The dogs are irreplaceable to us. Of course we have no idea what they will
do with our dogs. Our dogs all have collars with our name, address, and phone
number on them. The stolen dogs are 2 males dogs, Trigger & Ben, and 2 female
dogs, Dixie & Dot. Dot is in heat.
Our contact information is:

This notice regarding the dogs just came to me via e-mail:
ADAMS COUNTY – Four missing prize dogs were found inside their
owners' stolen truck on Monday night.
The dogs were found on East 40th Circle near Pena Boulevard inside
the stolen gray Ford 350 Crew Cab Dualie.
The truck was stolen from Ramada Plaza at 120th Avenue and I-25 on
Sunday morning.
The four prized Border Collies were in cages in the back of the
truck.
The owners of the dogs are from Wyoming and went to pick them up on
Monday night after they were found.
Aurora Police say all four were in excellent condition.
Police believe the media attention to the case forced the criminals
forced to abandon both the dogs and the truck.

I am so happy for them. I actually saw the dogs at Stockshow trials this past Sat before they were stolen.
Glad to hear a happy ending
