Big Projects --- rolling along

It has been a rough week to get much done.  I burned some early morning oil and managed to roll out the store for AROHNE so they can sell their beloved ACD memorabilia over the weekend. 

Also, redesigned the ACD Quarterly site The information there has been stale for over a year.  I couldn't seem to get the new editors to supply the necessary information so I  finally gave in and spent 4 hours scanning, researching, and revising what was already there. 

Clients need to be aware that my job is to make revisions and updates to the web pages.  I am not supposed to advise, think, or otherwise research your updates for you.  When you submit an update it really helps to give me the URL for the page you wish updated and an exact copy of how you want the update to appear.  It is best if I can Cut, Copy, Paste from your email or attached files.  Remember, if you send pictures, please mark them appropriately.  They all look the same to me.  I look at over 200 pictures a week.  Most of them for ads or updates.  YOU are the only one who knows exactly what is in a picture.  Updates that read similar: “please change the contact info for the editor” May sound simple but if I do not have that info on hand or cannot get verification of the correct info… it isn’t simple at all.  Real time-eaters those not so little updates.

Vom Reschaven Rottweilers is settling in nicely and I received updates for their KNK Agility Equipment site as well.  Will post them next week.  I’m off to the dog shows with Chai after a break to celebrate Rita’s 4^th birthday with a fun track through the freshly fallen snow.  Might even try to get more than 4 hours sleep tonight!

Humpday sees January - outta here

Today is my dad's birthday.  He would have been 79 today.  It's a clear blue sky and the sort of day that reminds us spring is coming.  He would have enjoyed it.  I still miss him though he's been gone for over a decade.

BrisketBasket.com  - one of my new clients has a nice write-up in their local paper. 
It has been a fun site to build.  I welcome more restaurant clients any day... very simple and exciting.  Not to mention the mouthwatering while I work on those menus...mmmMMmmmMM
